Today the Fall Season has officially begun; you can safely bring out your pumpkin brew, ugg boots, and Halloween decorations without judgment (hopefully). This season brings more than comfy clothes and weather changes. This is a significant time for you to manifest your desires for the remaining months of the year and achieve the goals you put in place.
Physical Meaning
The official term for Fall Season is called “Autumn Equinox”. “Equinox” is an event in which a planet’s subsolar point passes through its Equator. The equinoxes are the only time when both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere experience roughly equal amounts of daytime and nighttime. It also marks the end of Summer and introduces the first day of Autumn.
Spiritual Meaning
Within “Autumn Equinox” lies a deeper meaning of growth and expansion as a natural evolution of our organic being. Fall itself represents the harvest time of year. All life on Earth revolves in cycles of growth, harvest, death, and rebirth just as we see in nature.
Practice
This is a time of gratitude and solitude. During this time, I am personally guided to focus on the present moment, hibernate, and spend time in nature.
One spiritual practice may include lighting an orange or yellow candle while you write things you would like to manifest on a piece of paper. Keep the paper of manifestations on your altar with a cup of water on top, and your crystals surrounding. Don’t forget to smudge yourself and your home to clear out unnecessary energies.
Depending on your beliefs, you could also spending time in prayer and listen to worship music. Some sort of spiritual practice that aligns with your beliefs and assists your growth spiritually.
While staying present with yourself these next few months and reflecting on all that is good in your life, things will continue to push forward in a positive light. This will help your spiritual wealth and bleed into the rest of your life. Happy Autumn Equinox!
