Jamie Foxx Updates Fans, Feels ‘Blessed’

Jamie Foxx has spoken out for the first time since his daughter Corinne Foxx made a statement last month, confirming he was hospitalized due to a medical complication. On his verified Instagram feed Wednesday, Foxx thanked his followers for their love and stated he is feeling blessed. Numerous celebrities such as DJ Khaled, AJ McClean, and Ludacris, among others, offered him their support.
The FOX Network simultaneously announced Nick Cannon will temporarily host “Beat Shazam”, a music-related game show helmed by Foxx and his daughter Corinne. Moreover, Kelly Osbourne was tapped to be the guest DJ. Their statement wishing Foxx a swift recovery while expressing appreciation for Cannon’s willingness to step in and aid the show was also included.
Prior to his hospitalization, Foxx had been filming “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz in Atlanta. It was reported that the medical emergency did not happen on set, and filming is still expected to finish in April.
